About Us

Accredited by The Joint Commission and part of Lutheran Health Network, The Orthopedic Hospital's commitment to orthopedic care includes extensive treatment options and solutions, patient-friendly pain management, healing physical and occupational therapies, constant pursuit and evaluation of new treatment techniques and active participation in clinical trials and research studies.

Research Trials
The Orthopedic Hospital participates with Fort Wayne Orthopedics in research trials that enable physicians to constantly learn about new technology. In some cases, research studies allow physicians to work on projects in which only a few other sites in the nation are participating. Each study's treatment options are carefully evaluated for their potential to improve care.
